Thi An Orphanage
Since 2009, Thi An Orphanage has been a home to over 100 children, providing them with care, stability, and the chance to build a future. Today, 36 children live here, including four pursuing university degrees, proof of what’s possible when opportunity meets determination.
The orphanage began when a compassionate caretaker welcomed two mothers who weren’t able to raise their children on their own. From that moment, a place of safety, care, and opportunity was born.
Running Thi An isn’t easy. With monthly expenses reaching 30 to 40 million VND (~$1,200-$1,600 USD) and additional school fees, every bit of support matters. A kindergarten on-site helps sustain the orphanage, but savings from their new solar system will go even further—helping fund school uniforms, education costs, and essential resources for the children.
Here, sunlight doesn’t just power lights, it powers possibilities. Thanks to this community, their future just got a little brighter.
