Phuoc Linh Orphanage

Phuoc Linh Orphanage didn’t start with a plan. It started in 2019, when a newborn baby was left at the front gate. Thich Nguyen Tam, who runs this place, found him, named him Khanh Du, and raised him like his own.

That moment shaped everything.

Today, nearly 30 kids call Phuoc Linh home. It’s more than a place to eat and sleep. It’s a place to learn, to grow, and to dream a little bigger.

The goal here has always been simple: to give these kids more than just the basics. Life skills. Values. Confidence. And little by little, it’s happening. English lessons with teachers from overseas, music classes, Vietnamese studies, emotional development.

Ask anyone here about the caretaker and they’ll tell you, he never talks about the hard work. But behind the scenes, he’s doing whatever it takes to keep this place going, often taking on extra funeral work just to cover food, milk, and staff costs.

And it shows in how the kids are cared for. No yelling. No hitting. Every child bathed daily, fed well, hugged every single day. Not because it’s a rule, but because that’s just what love looks like here.

Now, with their new solar system installed, things get a little easier. Power bills go down. Savings go straight back to the kids, into meals, education, and building a safer place to grow up.

Phuoc Linh doesn’t make a lot of noise. But what happens here matters. And thanks to this community, their future just got a little brighter.

Solar Connected isn’t just a solar company. They’re a team that believes in using their skills to create real, lasting change.

Based in Australia, Solar Connected specialises in designing and installing solar energy systems for homes, businesses, and communities. But for them, it’s never just been about panels and power — it’s about people.

When they heard about Phuoc Linh Orphanage and the chance to help create a brighter future for the kids living there, they didn’t hesitate. They stepped in, fully donating the design, equipment, and installation of a brand new solar energy system — giving the orphanage a way to save on power costs for years to come.

It’s support like this that turns hope into action. Thanks to Solar Connected, every dollar saved on electricity can now go straight back to where it matters most — the children.

This isn’t just about lights staying on. It’s about building a future full of possibility.

In Proud Artistic Collaboration With

YNS

Some collaborations just feel meant to be.

YNS is a graphic designer known for bold, stylised artwork, often shaped by darker tones and contrast. But behind the sharp lines and statement pieces is an artist who sees things differently.

When YNS came across Little Sunshine Pledge, they reached out with a simple message: “Can I help?”

It didn’t matter that this was a world away from their usual style. What mattered was the mission; giving kids a brighter future. And from that moment, this collab wasn’t just about art on a wall. It became a story about stepping out of the shadows, and painting in the light.

For this artwork set, YNS wanted to capture the way kids see the world with curiosity, imagination, and a little bit of magic.

“A dinosaur is usually seen as scary… we always see them in horror movies. But for kids, they can be funny and friendly. Even dark characters can feel warm and inviting to them.” — YNS

What makes this art so special isn’t just the colour or the characters, it’s the meaning woven through every part of it.

“The sun was always meant to be here… not just because it’s part of your name, but because of what it represents. Bright days, light, and quiet hope. A reminder that no matter how big the journey, the sun will always be watching over it.” — YNS

For the kids at Phuoc Linh, this wall isn’t just something to look at. It’s a daily reminder that this is their space. Their story. And their future is filled with light.
